Yo! Was snowed in - and out and down and up - and isolated for a while, THEN lost internet, no idea why. My health, on the other hand, is excellent so it appears that snow, ice and sleet are good for my constitution. Spent my time studying, pondering life, the universe, and everything (please note elegant Oxford comma) and came up with forty-two-and-a half. Thought of all of you and worried you would worry. very sorry about that, but out of my hands, really.

A VERY HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO DANIEL AND ALL THE OTHERS WHO BECAME ONE YEAR OLDER IN THESE DAYS!!!1! (deranged Jane) I toasted your health and every success in life all by myself and even sniffed a little; will toast Daniel's in two days (it's the 25th, innit?)

Also am perpetrating some fics (but promised meself I'd write them all BEFORE posting) and a lengthy review for Ingriam.

We-ell... you see, forty-two being seven times nine; seven being one of the perfect numbers - because of the length of each lunar phase - and nine being the number of death it all came out to a rather bleak Entropic Death of the Universe Affair which - on consideration - prolly really is the answer to Life, the Universe and Everything and the Ultimate Answer at that. So, feeling unnaturally well in the midst of white icy perfection (a sort of prefiguration of the Entropic Death) I decided that adding a half would provide a better answer to the mess, the half being the Indomitable Spirit of Woman... oh, alright of Man as well. :P

TWENTY-EIGHT! YOU ARE A CHILD!!! [/deranged Jane] Moi being soooo much older, you understand. :P:P:P

I think my computer - along with everything else - froze; or the lines froze; or the Electrical Company froze. Or all of the above. Anyway it seems to have thawed now.

You posted a SLEW of chapters when I wasn't looking, dint you? :P You'll get your due soonest. :-D
