Right, I have a very insightful and mature essay on Firefly but for now, after having watched the thing TWICE I have only two things to say:

1) IT'S A FUCKING WESTERN!

2) I'd rather he didn't steal from fucking loathsome Cowboy Bebop or whatever that thing is called. Wash the stampede my royal black ass! HMPH!

Sorry to mock and run, but life rilly rilly RILLY hates me right now.

It's definitely a Western, yep yep.

I've never seen Cowboy Bebop, but it seems to me that two shows that are both based on "it's a Western, only in space" are going to have a lot of similarities, even if their creators have never seen a single episode of each other's shows. I mean, there's not just one, but two sets of genre tropes to draw on here... =]

Westerns bore me to death, don't know exactly why, but they do. Anyway am writing an analysis that is a tad more mature. I hope. :P

I think you're hating on Trigun there, sweety. That's the only show I could think up with a character reffered to as "the Stampede"; his name is Vash, though.

I think you are right. I know nothing at all about Trigun and/o Cowboy Bebop or whatever, I just met this woman who was obsessed with Vash the Stampede who, if I'm not wrong, is drawn blod and shoots with gun in odd planet and/or space.

She was forever harping on the perfection of said Vash and series, but, as you can see I din't really listen. It's an anime, right? Trigun, I mean. Not a game?

I was just being silly and carping at similarity of name 'Wash' and blond hair with name 'Vash' and blond hair. :-D

Don't hate me, please.

Anime and manga; not a game as far as I know. I saw a few episodes, it never really caught my attention.
